Further Your Education with the Flexibility of Online Classes

Our instructor-facilitated online courses are informative, fun, convenient, and highly interactive. All courses run for six weeks (with a two-week grace period at the end). Courses are project-oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas, supplementary links, and more. You can complete any of these courses entirely from your home or office and at any time of the day or night.

How to Get Started:

  1. Visit our Online Instruction Center at www.ed2go.com/eldon.
  2. Click the Orientation link and follow the instructions to enroll and pay for your course. During orientation, you will learn important information about your course. You will also be provided an opportunity to choose the name and password you will use to access your course. This step is critical! You cannot access your course until you complete orientation.
  3. When your course starts, return to our Online Instruction Center and click the Classroom link. To begin your studies, simply log in with the name and password you provided during orientation.

Classes start: Jan. 17, Feb. 21, March 21, April 18, May 16,  June 20, July 18, Aug. 15, and Sept. 19

BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY

The Community Education Program can assist in increasing employee efficiency or employee training. We can develop short-term courses to meet your needs. This instruction can take place in your facilities or in ours. Cost is determined by length and type of course.

Procedures to Send Employees to Class

  1. Write a short memo on letterhead indicating company approval for payment. Please include: student’s name, social security number, home address, phone number, course name, and approved amount of reimbursement
  2. An authorized supervisor must sign the memo. (Please type the supervisor’s name and include a contact telephone number.)
  3. Simply mail or fax the information and letterhead permission to: Adult and Community Education, Attn: Wendy White, 112 S. Pine St., Eldon, MO 65026. Fax number (573) 392-9154

Complete the enrollment form. Make checks payable to Eldon Career Center and mail to (or register in person):

Please register early, as classes often fill quickly. Classes are designed for adults; however, students under age 16 may enroll if accompanied by another registered adult. Registration hours: 7:30 am—4:00 pm M-F.

Refund Policy

A full refund will be made if class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment (2) Refund will be made if a class is filled before your registration is received (3) Any class may be dropped and a refund will be issued if you notify our office at least 3 working days prior to its start (4) No refunds will be made once a class begins. In fairness to all we strictly adhere to this policy.

How Your Company Can Send You to a Class
