Registration Process
Complete the registration form. Make checks payable to Eldon Career
Center and mail to (or register in person):

Registration Form
Please register early, as classes often fill quickly. Classes are
designed for adults; however, students under age 16 may enroll if accompanied
by another registered adult. Registration hours: 7:30 am—4:00
pm M-F.
Refund Policy
A full refund will be made if class is cancelled due to insufficient
enrollment (2) Refund will be made if a class is filled before your
registration is received (3) Any class may be dropped and a refund
will be issued if you notify our office at least 3 working days prior
to its start (4) No refunds will be made once a class begins. In fairness
to all we strictly adhere to this policy.
Certificates of Completion
Certificates of Completion are awarded to students who successfully
complete vocational classes. Student who receive a grade of “C” or
better and attend at least 80% of the class will receive a certificate.
Certificates will be given at the last class. If you are entitled to
a certificate, but are unable to attend the last class, your certificate
will be available to be picked up in the office.

It shall be the policy of the Eldon Public Schools to provide equal

Senior Citizen Discounts
If you are 60 years of age or older, you can receive a 10% discount
on the tuition price of all classes. (Note: No discount on textbooks
or supplies.)
School Closing/Class Cancellation
Weather conditions may cause school cancellation. If Eldon R-1 Schools
cancel or close early, no night classes will be held. Cancellation
of classes due to inclement weather is announced on local radio stations.
Continuing Education Units
You will see “CEU” appearing in the descriptions of our
vocational classes. They are a form of nationally recognized credit
which is based on time spent in continuing education experiences. CEU’s
may be required for professional certification, relicensure programs,
or occupational promotions.
