Financial Management |
| Overview | |
Goal. Part of the Eldon FBLA Chapter goal of preparing students for the business world is teaching proper business financial procedures; this includes such skills as basic bookkeeping and money management. As such the chapter treasurer, president and committee chairs must work together to maintain accurate financial records that account for all chapter profits and expenses. |
Dues. This year chapter dues were set at fifteen dollars. Out of those fifteen dollars, six dollars went towards national dues and two dollars went towards state dues. The remaining seven dollars went toward chapter activities and management. |
Fundraising Committee. In order to cover the cost of various chapter expenses including community service projects and the fees of members and competitors who attend state and national conferences, our chapter must raise necessary funds. It is the job of the Fundraising Committee to organize and manage fund-raisers to do so throughout the school year. |

Fund-raisers |
Cookie Dough Sales. Selling cookie dough is an annual chapter fund-raiser. This year each member was encouraged to sell at least five buckets of cookie dough. |

McDonald’s Hotcake Night. Each year the Eldon FBLA chapter sponsors a fund-raiser in which all proceeds go to the March of Dimes. This year, with the help from the local McDonalds franchise, our chapter hosted a hotcake dinner in March. |
