Competitive Events

State Leadership Conference. On April 18th- 20th, 2010 members that advanced in the district competation will attend the State Leadership Conference.

Publicity

FBLA Bulletin Board. There is a bulletin board located on the first floor of the Eldon Career Center to inform members and prospective members of upcoming events. Current pictures of FBLA members showing their participation in activities are also posted.

Newspaper Article. During FBLA week, members write articles and chose pictures to put in a special feature section of our local newspaper. The articles give the community a chance to see what FBLA is and what the members do.

Student of the Quarter. The business department recognizes a student of the quarter. This student must be dedicated, motivated and professional. A majority of the students chosen are FBLA members and acquired these qualities through their participation in FBLA. Student of the Quarter winners are awarded with a $20 Wal-Mart gift card.

 

Chapter Website. Our chapter website gives students and parents an opportunity to see the benefits of FBLA. Community service and leadership activities for members are highlighted.

Awards Night. FBLA members are recognized for their outstanding service and achievement at the annual Awards Night. Certificates of accomplishment at the District 2 Competitive Events and State Leadership Conference are awarded.

Mustang Express. FBLA was recognized in the online newsletter, Mustang Express. The publication is put out every two weeks and has over 1000 subscribers. FBLA has been recognized for several activities. These include hosting District 2 contest, publishing district winners and state winners, and community service activities.

Eldon R-I News. Twice a year the Eldon R-1 District publishes a printed newsletter. It is sent to all Eldon R-1 patrons. FBLA was recognized for their community service activites in conjunction with the Eldon Career Center.
