Agriculture Courses

*Supervised Agricultural Experience Program (SAEP)

SAEs are a part of every agriculture course offered using concepts learned in the classroom. Students will gain practical skills needed in the world of work through hands-on, work based situations that will be accurately recorded and reported. Students will be expected to develop their skill in an agricultural career area that interests them. They will coordinate their project through the teacher, their parents, and their employer.

**Agriculture Science I Integration

This self-study unit of instruction is for juniors or seniors that want to take an advanced agriculture class and have not met the prerequisite. This embedded study is designed for students to learn the basics of the FFA organization and the *Supervised Agriculture Experience Program (SAEP) while they are in an advanced agriculture course.

Prerequisite: Teacher Approval

***Agriculture Science II Integration

This self-study unit of instruction is for second year agriculture students who have not completed or enrolled in Ag Science II and have not met the prerequisite.

Prerequisite: Teacher Approval

--Embedded Personal Finance

This credit is required for all graduates. It was embedded for students who opt out of taking a semester of Personal Finance. Students must take the course for a year and pass an on-line state test to receive their Personal Finance credit. This credit can be obtained by taking Advanced Animal Science, Advanced Plant Science or Agriculture Business Management and Sales.
