In 1928 thirty-three young men met at the Baltimore Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri. This was the beginning of the National FFA Organization. Eighty Years later there are over 7,000 FFA Chapters in the nation. Of these Chapters there are 305 within Missouri. The Eldon FFA Chapter is the 3rd largest FFA Chapter in Missouri and has been recognized as one of the top Chapters in the state.

The FFA organization provides students with the chance to develop leadership skills, take on responsibilities and motivate fellow students to become active in their community and their school.

There are currently 230 members in the Eldon FFA Chapter.
